4/5-Day Itinerary for Jiu Zhai Gou
Day 1- Arrive
- Plan on arriving in Jiu Zhai Gou in the afternoon or evening.
- Arrange with the hostel owner a car that will take you to Huang Long the following day.
- Get to bed as early as possible in preparation for tomorrow.
Day 2– Huang Long
- Wake up early and head to Huang Long.
- Spend the entire day at Huang Long.
- Once you return arrange with the hostel owner a car to take you to the main entrance of Jiu Zhai Gou the following day. (Its only about a 15 minute ride from the town)
Day 3– Jiu Zhai Gou
- Wake up early and arrive at the main entrance of Jiu Zhai Gou between 07:15am and 07:30am.
- Wait in line for a ticket (or close to the front of the ticket office, lining up is not always a thing in China).
- Take the walking path from the entrance (red line on the Jiu Zhai Gou map, page 1) to the center point of the park.
- Then take a bus to the right side of the park. See as many scenic areas as possible.
Day 4- Jiu Zhai Gou (if the two-day pass is available)
- Take the bus from the entrance all the way to the last stop.
- See all of the scenic areas that you didn’t see on the previous day.
- Arrange with the hostel owner to have a car take you to the airport on the following day.
Day 5- Depart
- Head to the airport or bus stop and depart from Jiu Zhai Gou.
